    1. Chris Lehman offers a quick, concise guide to creating relationships in Writing Workshop that foster engagement and independence. While this books is angled toward disengaged writers, the strategies offered are great for raising the level of independence and engagement for all writers. I love reading the sample conferences, noticing the positive tone and high expectations being set with students. This book is relevant for teachers of younger students as well.

    2. Loved this book! Filled with powerful teaching strategies and ideas for teaching all writers. A must- read for teachers!
